UnBound Patagonia: A Women's Yoga & Adventure Retreat in Chile, April 2027
With Autumn Adams
April 10 - 17, 2027
About this event
There’s a part of you that has never fully gone quiet. It’s the part that wants to stand somewhere wild, do the thing that scares you a little, and feel fully, unmistakably alive. You’ve probably been telling her “later.”
UnBound is eight days of getting her back.
Where we go
We spend the week at Tawa Refugio, a family-run lodge deep in the Puelo Valley of northern Patagonia, Chile. This is rural Patagonia, gaucho country, not a polished resort with a yoga label on it. We go in April, which is mid-autumn there. The forests turn red and gold, the lakes go glassy, mushrooms come up everywhere, and the trails are empty. Our local guides told us it’s their favorite month of the year.
What you’ll do
Cuatro Lagos: a full day by boat and on foot, deep into back country gauchos have worked for generations
Termas del Sol: ten stone pools fed by the Yate volcano, with steam rising into cold mountain air
Kayaking: a half day on a glassy autumn lake, with the only sound your own paddle
Daily yoga and Yoga Nidra: mornings to wake the body up, evenings to settle it back down
Everything is optional. Some days choosing yourself means sleeping in.
How it works
The retreat is built on the UnBound Method, five threads that run through every practice, hike, and conversation:
Face the fear in a supported group
Reconnect with what lights you up
Build confidence on and off the mat
Practice healthy boundaries
Learn manifestation the grounded way: clarity plus a regulated nervous system plus aligned action over time
It’s taught with the science underneath (neuroplasticity, the nervous system, the RAS), not magical thinking.
What you’ll leave with
A nervous system that remembers what settled feels like
The self-trust that comes from doing something hard in a wild place
Friendships with women who get it
A clearer sense of what’s been depleting you and what you actually want more of
Tools to take home: breathwork, Yoga Nidra, and the science of how change actually happens
Who comes
The group is capped at 14 women, mostly 35–60 and mostly arriving alone. We’re business owners, school teachers, techies, Girl Scout leaders, and fellow yoga teachers. You don’t need to be an advanced yogi. A basic understanding of yoga is enough, and every class offers options.

She’s the author of The Little Book of Mudra Meditations and has been featured in Insider, Shape, Zappos, and Asia Spa.
“This was literally a life-changing experience. It was worth every penny and more. I felt completely supported, serene, and inspired to attend another retreat in the future.” (Lindsey W., Patagonia 2026)
This isn’t an escape from your life. It’s a few days wild enough to remind you who you are underneath all of it. You don’t have to earn it first.
